Eleven players from the Andalusia United under-12 soccer team attended the Kenny White Soccer Camp in Enterprise June 2 through June 6.

The eleven players who attended the camp are Nicholas Lawson, Tally Morrow, Evan Brooks, Zachary Morgan, Jake Ricardy, Armon Momenpour, Lee Mills, John Tillman, Marcus Ingram, Gillis Jones and Blake Jackson.

Head instructor for the camp was Kenny White, former Alabama Youth State Director of Coaching and current Director of Coaching for the Ridgeland Soccer Club in Mississippi. He is a USSF "A" licensed coach who has played and coached at all levels of competitive soccer. For many years, White has been actively involved in promoting the growth of soccer in Alabama and the Southeast. He conducts numerous player camps and coaching clinics each year throughout the Southeast. A staff of selected coaches and college players assisted White at the camp in Enterprise.

"During the week, players of all ability levels benefited from the camp," Andalusia United Coach Mark Ingram said. "The camp challenged campers with skill development, technical instruction and team tactics.

"Players were divided into age group and skill level divisions to ensure each camper had an enjoyable soccer experience," Ingram added.

The Andalusia players also had fun at the camp while improving their soccer skills.

"This camp provided the players with an environment of intense training and fun games," Ingram said. "To play your best, you must have the technical ability to control the ball - this camp provided that and more for our players."

The Andalusia United U-12 soccer team will have a team camp the week of July 21-25 in Andalusia. The team will travel to Huntsville on June 27-29 to compete in the Alabama Sports Festival State Games.
