Covington County All-Stars named

Covington County Little League President Ron Haag released the names of the 2003 All-Stars via a telephone interview Tuesday afternoon.
The 9- and 10-year-old Covington County Little League All-Stars whil will compete at the District 5 Tournament in Brewton beginning Saturday, June 28. The team includes three members of the 2003 league champion Brewers.
The Brewers are represented by Steadman Gerber, Zack Lunsford and Eric Samuels.
The team also includes two members of the Padres, Pirates, Mariners and Giants.
Representing the Padres on the 2003 All-Stars team are Nick Allen and Troy Nolen.
Josh Dewrell and Zack Stinson are the two members of the Piartes who were selected to the 2003 All-Stars.
The Mariners are represented by Jacob Ganus and Levi Lumpkin.
Coulter Poole and Fernando Torres are the two Giants who were named to the 2003 All-Stars squad.
The 9- and 10-year-old All-Stars will be coached by Head Coach Jeff Williamson. Assistant Coach Bruce Lunsford and Assistant Coach Mark Dewrell will assist Williamson.
The members of the 2003 11- and 12-year-old Covington County Little League All-Stars includes five members of the league champion A's.
Mathew Bond, Zane Maloy, Cale Nolen, Kyle Nolen and Shane Turner are the five A's who selected as All-Stars.
Three Eagles will join the A's on the team. The members of the All-Star squad from the Eagles are Ethan King, Emory Rabren and Clay Stacks.
The two Rockies named to the All-Star team are Cole Armstrong and Andrew Rabren.
Aaron Haag is the lone representative of the Marlins on the 2003 All-Star team.
Andy Nolen will serve as the head coach of the 11- and 12-year-old All-Stars. Joining him on the coaching staff is Assistant Coach David Turner and Assistant Coach Greg Nolen.
