Michael Kyser

Michael Kyser, 28, of Andalusia, died Friday, June 13, 2003 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 17, 2003 at Keahey Funeral Home

of Andalusia with Rev. Preston Hughes and Rev. robert Canant officiating. Special music was provided by the famly and by soloist, Kellie Brooks. Buril followed in Able Cemetery in Gantt.

He had worked as a correction officer with the Covington County Sheriff's Department. and was affiliated with the Gantt and Andalusia Police Departments.

Survivors include wife, Tanya Kyser of Opp; father and step-mother, Donnie and Marie Kyser of Opp; mother and step-father, Gayle and Donald Jordan of Andalusia; sons Michael Kyser, Jr. and Jonathan Kyser; daughters, Kristena Kyser and Brittany Kyser; brothers, Jackie Kyser of Andalusia and Christopher Kyser and Eric Kyser of Opp; sister, Donna Grice of Pensacola, Fla.; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Active pallbearers were Greg Jackson, Tedd Motley, Roger Sender, larry Brown, Chris Byrd, and Johnny Floyd.

Honorary pallbears included members of the Covington County Sheriff's Department, the Andalusia Police Department, the Opp Police Department, the Gantt Police Department, the Florala Police Department, the Andalusia Rescue Squad, the Andalusia Fire Department, and the Alabama State Troopers.

Francis Eady

Mrs. Francis Eady, 92, of Montgomery, formerly of Andalusia, died Saturday June 14th in a Montgomery nursing home.

Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 17 at Foreman Funeral Home Chapel with interment in the Andalusia Memorial Cemetery.

Survivors include her daughter: Jeanette Hart of Andalusia; a daughter-in-law: Pat Eady of Montgomery; her grandchildren, Rebecca Huff, David Eady, Mark Eady, Mike Hart and Gregory Eady and five great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Eady was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. James W. Eady, Sr., and her sons, James W. Eady, Jr. and William Charles Eady.

Visitation will be one hour prior to services at Foreman Funeral Home Tuesday morning. Pallbearers will be grandsons and great grandsons.

Willie Merle Bulger

Mrs. Willie Merle Bulger, 77, of Rt. 1 Florala, died Saturday, June 14 in a Dothan hospital.

Funeral services will be 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 17, 2003 at the Red Oak Baptist Church with burial in Red Oak Cemetery with Foreman Funeral Home directing.

She is survived by her husband, Ford Bulger of Red Oak Community; two daughters, Lynda (Carlos) Powell of Enon Community and Sue (Herb) Smith of Molino, Fl; five sons, Rodger (Patty) Bulger of Stanley community; Steve (Elaine) Bulger; Terry (Sheila) Bulger of Red Oak; Mitchell (Sylvia) Bulger of Albany, Ga. Jamie (Kristi) Bulger of Bainbridge, Ga.; daughter-in-law, Phyllis Bulger of Batesville, Ark., 23 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren; sisters, Betty (Wint) Padgett of Elba and Patricia (Richard) Johnston of Montgomery, a brother, Troyce (Jolinda) Brunson of Birmingham; sister-in-law, Ruby Kelley, of Red Oak community.

She was preceded in death by a son, Rev. Randy Bulger.

Flowers will be accepted or donations to Covenant Hospice.

Estelle Williams Etheridge

Estelle Williams Etheridge, 72, of Andalusia died Sunday, June 15, 2003 in a Montgomery hospital.

Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 18, 2003 from Foreman Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Andalusia Memorial Cemetery, with Rev. Ralph Jones and Rev. Roger Lee officiating.

Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Gail and William Adams of Andalusia and Toni and Mark Miller of Huntsville; two grandchildren, Jamie Prestwood of Andalusia and Andrew Miller of Huntsville; two great-grandchildren, Ashley Beck and Austin Davis, one brother, Wes Williams of Dothan; one sister, Beatrice Eiland of Dothan and a number of nieces and nephews.

She was a charter member of East Highland Baptist Church and Sunday School teacher. she was a longtme member of the Business and Professional Women's Club and American Legion Auxiliary. She was retired from Alatex, Inc. after 32 years of employment. Mrs. Etheridge has been a funeral director since 1988 and has been currently employed with Foreman's Funeral Home in Andalusia.

Pallbearers were Wesley Williams Jr.; Wesley Williams III, Jack Jones, Gary Williams, Jimmy Williams, Melvin Carroll.

Louise Hartley Hartzog

Louise Harley Hartzog, 92, of Montgomery, formerly of Andalusia, died Saturday, June 14, 2003 in a Montgomery hospital.

Graveside services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 15, 2003 at Magnolia Cemetery with Rev. Frank Beall officiating and Foreman Funeral Home directing.

She is survived by four nieces, Dorothy Dunn Brooks of Andalusia; Mary Louise Dunn Jones of Andalusia; Mary Jean Newberry Whatley of Pensacola, Fla.; Kathryn Newberry Allen of Alexander City; one step-son, Larry Hartzog of New Orleans, La.

She was born in Greenville to Lillie Abigail Hartley and William Henry Hartley. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Barney Maxwell Hartzog, two sisters Kathryn Hartley Dunn and Mary Hartley and a niece Joy Dunn Meeks.
