Bonnie L. Chesser

Bonnie L. Chesser, 95, of Andalusia died Wednesday, June 18, 2003 in an Andalusia hospital.

Graveside funeral services will be held 3 p.m., Sunday, June 22, 2003 at the Andalusia Memorial Cemetery

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services on Sunday, June 22, 2003 at Keahey Funeral Home of Andalusia.

Estelle Williams Etheridge

Estelle Williams Etheridge, 72, of Andalusia died Sunday, June 15, 2003 in a Montgomery hospital.

Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 18, 2003 from Foreman Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Andalusia Memorial Cemetery, with Rev. Ralph Jones and Rev. Roger Lee officiating.

Songs were by Jimmy Williams who sang "Amazing Grace," Gloria Jones who sang "I Can Only Imagine"; and Beverly Cook who sang, "Because He Lives." Music was provided by Teresa Kendrick Hoskins on the piano. At the cemetery Mr. and Mrs. Jack Jones provided the music for the graveside services.

Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Gail and William Adams of Andalusia and Toni and Mark Miller of Huntsville; two grandchildren, Jamie Prestwood of Andalusia and Andrew Miller of Huntsville; two great-grandchildren, Ashley Beck and Austin Davis, one brother, Wes Williams of Dothan; one sister, Beatrice Eiland of Dothan and a number of nieces and nephews.

She was a charter member of East Highland Baptist Church and Sunday School teacher. She was a longtme member of the Business and Professional Women's Club and American Legion Auxiliary. She was retired from Alatex, Inc. after 32 years of employment. Mrs. Etheridge has been a funeral director since 1988 and was employed with Foreman's Funeral Home in Andalusia.

Pallbearers were Wesley Williams Jr.; Wesley Williams III, Jack Jones, Gary Williams, Jimmy Williams, Melvin Carroll.

Ruth Elizabeth Ward

Ruth Elizabeth Ward, 77, of Red Level died Wednesday, June 18, 2003 in a Mobile hospital.

Funeral services are incomplete and will be announced later by Foreman Funeral Home of Andalusia.
