Number of exempt taxed is too many

Dear Editor:

I'd like to inform Mr. Giles that one of the main reasons the State Education Budget is short on money is due to the fact that retirement money of state, federal, civil service and military employees are exempted from state income tax.

Think about it, just how many people are exempted and the amount is growing every year!

Now, these politicians are trying to wrap that plan in the Bible instead of doing what they should. Stop discrimination! Any tax that a state passes should include all the people or exempt all the people.
