Mary Lou Mikel

Mary Lou Mikel, 95, of Andalusia died Sunday, July 12, 2003 in a local nursing home.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 16, 2003 at 11 a.m. from Foreman Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be in the Good News Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Jay Driver officiating.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, William R. and Audie Mikel Jr.; three grandsons, Dwight Mikel, Benjy Mikel and Anthony Mikel; four great-grandchildren; one sister and brother-in-law, Lullis and Hugh Hudgins of Atlanta, Ga. and one brother and sister-in-law, Eric and Nettie Zuber of Videer, Texas.

Pallbearers will be Dwight Mikel, Benjy Mikel, Anthony Mikel, Jeff Mills, Neal King and Jerry Hudson.

Henry Fred "Hank" Roland

Henry Fred "Hank" Roland, 77, of Andalusia, died Monday, July 14, 2003 in an Andalusia hospital.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 17, 2003 at Foreman Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Paul Little officiating and burial will follow in Andalusia Memorial Cemetery.

Survivors include his son, Charles (Kim) Roland of Andalusia; his daughter, Vickie Roland (Gary) Sloan of Gordon, Wisc., five grandchildren, Garrett Roland, Dillon Roland, Wesley Little, Jr., Ryan Little, and Jenny Little; two sisters, Grace Howard of Crestview, Fla. and Mary Ponder of Dothan and his brother, Arthur Calhoun of Columbia.

Visitation will be at 6 p.m. Wednesday, July 16, 2003 at Foreman Funeral Home.
