Guntersville is known for fishing and fried catfish from Lake Guntersville.

The players on the Opp Dixie Majors think of something else when they think of the city.

The Opp Dixie Majors returned from the state tournament after being eliminated by Wetumpka on Monday.

Opp began the tournament with a

close game against Hueytown.

Heath Williamson and Daniel Wall both hit home runs for the Opp squad, but it was not enough as Hueytown held on for an 11-9 win.

Opp faced Saraland next in a loser's bracket game and came away victorious by a final score of 11-6.

Andrew Harry hit a grand slam home run in the win. Drew Mims was the winning pitcher twirling a complete game.

The win sent Opp up against Wetumpka in another elimination game.

Wetumpka earned the win outscoring Opp 7-1. Opp's lone run came on a solo home run by Mims.
