Dorothy Ray Aughtman

Dorothy Ray Aughtman, 81, of Andalusia, died Wednesday, July 15, 2003 in a local hospital.

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, July 18, 2003 fromthe Sweethome Cemetery in McKenzie with Rev. Melvin Kilpatrick and Rev. Frankie McVay officiating.

Survivors include two daughters, Linda (Timmy) Turner of Andalusia and Robin Aughtman of Andalusia; four grandchildren, Anthony Michael Aughtman, Wesley Monroe Aughtman, Rebecca Elizabeth Turner, and Chase Michael Turner. She was survived by several other relatives also. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rufus Monroe Aughtman and a son, Michael Monroe Aughtman.

Eunice Mills

Eunice Mills, 94, of Andaluisa died Tuesday, July 15, 2003 in the Luverne Nursing Home.

Graveside services were at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, July 17, at the Weed Cemetery with Rev. Travis Johnson officiating. Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Thursday, July 17, 2003 at Foreman Funeral Home.

Survivors include her daughter, Eleanor Butler of Andalusia; two grandsons, Dale Butler of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. and Richard Butler of Atlanta, Ga.; four great-grandchildren, Lindsay Butler, Corey Butler, Brandon Butler, and Annie Butler.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Leukemia Society or the charity of your choice.

Lovie Sport

Lovie Sport, 83, of Andalusia died Wednesday, July 16, 2003 in a Mobile hospital.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, July 19, 2003 at Keahey Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Antioch Church Cemetery with Keahey Funeral Home directing.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Keahey Funeral Home.

Survivors included two sons, Donnie and Sharon Sport of Texas and Benny Sport of Andaluisa; two daughters, Linda and Steve Lawson of Andaluisa and Barbara Shoemaker of Andalusia; one brother, Tracy Hattaway of Birmingham; sisters, Olene Hicks of Andalusia, Glenda Mosley of Andalusia and Gladys Davis of Andalusia; eight grandchildren, four great-grandchildren.
