Mack Sawyer

Mack Sawyer, 96, of Andalusia, died Tuesday, July 22, 2003 in an Andalusia hospital.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 24, 2003 at Foreman Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Joel Faircloth officiating and burial in Stone Lake Cemetery.

Survivors include his son, Thomas Mack Sawyer of Kansas City, Mo.; his step-daughter, Barbara Selvey of Greenville; two grandchildren, Andy Andrews and Kristi Andrews; his sister, Nell Baker of Destin; special friend Vassie Weaver of Andalusia.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Edna; his daughter, Joye Sawyer Andrews and two grandchildren, Roy Selvey and Patricia Selvey.

Pallbearers will be Gerald Benson, Ken Wallick, Gaston Green, Emory Baker, Freddie Baker and Andy Andrews.

William Frank "W.F." Temple

William Temple, of Andalusia, died Monday, July 21, 2003 in an Andaluisa hospital.

Fuenral arrangements are incomplete and will be announced later by Foreman Funeral Home.

J.D. Williamson

J.D. Williamson, 77, of Red Level, died Monday, July 21, 2003 at his residence.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, July 23, 2003 at 11 a.m. from the Foreman Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Drexal Copeland and Rev. Gary Holloway officiating. Burial followed in Fairmount Cemetery.

Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Williamson of Red Level; four daughters, Charlotte Hoover (Jerry) of McDonough, Ga.; Jean Turner (Lewis) of McDonough, Ga., Hilda Johnson (Bill) of Castleberry, Jackie Walker (Perry) of Red Level; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Robert Stone, Howard West, Dallas Kelley, Lamar Fowler, Steve Rabren and Daniel Madden.

John Thomas (Tommy) Northrop

John Thomas (Tommy) Northrop, 59, of Opp died Tuesday, July 22, 2003 in Mizell Memorial Hospital after an extended illness.

He was a co-owner of Barrow's Furniture.

Visitation will be at Wyatt Funeral Home on Thursday, July 24, 2003 between 6 and 8 p.m.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. at First Baptist Church of Opp on Friday, July, 25, 2003 with David Franklin and Scott Dawson officiating. Burial will follow at 3 p.m. Friday, at Flomaton City Cemetery.

The family requests the omission of flowers and memorials can be made to the First Baptist Church of Opp or to the charity of choice.

The pallbearers will be his nephews. Honorary pallbearers will be the deacons of First Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Patricia Northrop of Opp; his parents, Clyde and Alice Inez Northrop of Flomaton; daughters, Cheri Hennessey of Pensacola, Melanie Nichols of Birmingham, Christy Young of Colorado, Laura Northrop of Opp; sister, Susan McMath of Flomaton, brothers, Clyde McCall Northrop III of Carolina community, Kenneth Northrop of Jasper.
