The Loango Convenience team is in first place after two weeks of bowling action in the Thursday Morning Coffee League at Boland Lanes II in Andalusia.

The Monroe Ladies are in second just one point back. The Positive Bowlers are in third three points out of first.

Butch Lints had the top scores among the men last week with a 187 scratch game and 472 scratch series.

Mary Jo Bryant had the top scores among the women with a 202 scratch game and 520 scratch series.

NEW SENIOR LEAGUE

A new season is starting up for the senior mixed league.

Senior bowlers, ages 50 and older, are invited to sign-up for the league at a meeting set for Wednesday, Sept. 3 at Boland Lanes II in Andalusia. The meeting is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m.
