Soccer players learned a lot this past week as members of the Andalusia United 13-and-under team attended a team clinic instructed by AUM Head Soccer Coach Brett Teach.

The players learned a variety of skills and techniques from the college soccer coach through a wide range of drills and games.

The advanced soccer camp was directed toward a higher level of achievement, individual growth, development of skills and a serious commitment to soccer training.

The players met for more than three hours on each day of the

four-day team clinic. Each day the players went through a variety of drills and scrimmages to improve their soccer skills and understanding of the game.

The members of the Andalusia United who participated in the team camp areRhett Riley, Jake Ricardy, Blake Jackson, Nicholas Lawson, Tally Morrow, Joshua Rizzo, Daniel Bonds, Marcus Ingram, Zachary Morgan, Gillis Jones, Stephen Darby, Armon Momenpour and Lee Mills.

The Andalusia United team will begin its fall tournament schedule on September 6 when the team travels to Enterprise for the Lower Alabama Soccer Invitational. The team will play several games this season.
