Reuben Tillman

Reuben Tillman, 93, of Gantt died Sunday, August 10, 2003 in a Georgia hospital.

Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Wednesday, August 13, 2003 at Foreman Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in Andaluisa Memorial Cemetery and Rev. Alan Cassady officiating.

Survivors include his grandchildren, Tam (Steve) Cross of Andalusia; Jerri (Wayne) Dauphin of Andalusia, Sherri (Jamey) Williams of Sea Grove Beach, Fla.; and Gary and Cassey Tillman of Mobile; six great- grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; three brothers, Fulton Tillman of Greenville, Tenn., Loyd (Mary) Tillman of Ringold, Ga., and Woodrow Tillman (Thelma) of Rossville, Ga.; and one sister, Lorraine Beaver of Ringold, Ga.

Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the Mt. Zion Methodist Church.

Hermione Elizabeth Owens Session

Hermione Elizabeth Owens Sessions passed from the arms of her family into the arms of her Savior on Tuesday, August 12, 2003. She was born October 18, 1918 in Repton to George and Lizzie Owens. She was a long time member of First Baptist Church and a resident of Andalusia manor.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 14, 2003 at 11 a.m. from the Foreman Fuenral Home Chapel with burial following in Andalusia Memorial Cemetery with Rev. Joel Faircloth and Don Sessions officiating.

She is survived by her husband of 65 years, J.T. Sessions; three sons, J.T. Sessions Jr. and wife, Ann of Milton, Fla., Don and wife, Barbara Sessions of Shelby, N.C., Rocky and Neal Sessions of Fayetteville, Ga.; a daughter, Irma and David Darley of Lake City, Fla.; 15 grandchildren, 28, great-grandchildren; four brothers, Wendall, Davis and Raymond Owens of Monroeville and Ed Owens of Evergreen; three sisters, Irma Rogers of Ocala, Fla., Ada Mae McInnis of Repton and Arvie Mathis of Belle Glade, Fla.

Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Euzelian and Faith Sunday School Class of the First Baptist Church.

Pallbearers were Roy Windham, Ziba Anderson, John Hill, Alvin Earnest, Benny Barrow, Frank Moore, Dr. J. Wayne Johnson and Gordon Vickers.

Raymond L. Gilmore

Raymond L. Gilmore, 80, of Dozier in the Searight community, died Tuesday, August 12, 2003 in an Andalusia hospital.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, August 14, 2003 at Keahey Funeral Home.

Survivors include his wife, Ethel Mae Gilmore of Dozier; sons and daughters-in-law, Farrell and Teresa Gilmore of Andalusia and Billy and Kathy Gilmore of Dozier; sons, Larry Ray Gilmore of Mississippi and Kenneth Gilmore of Dozier; daughters, Mary Janice Baker of Andalusia, Jeanette Jackson of Andalusia and Myra Gilmore of Dozier; daughter and son-in-law Shania and Michael Lunsford of Opp; 22 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren.
