Raymond L. Gilmore

Raymond L. Gilmore, 80, of Dozier in the Searight community, died Tuesday, August 12, 2003 in an Andalusia hospital.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Friday, August 14, 2003 with Rev. Drexall Copeland officiating at Keahey Funeral Home. Special music was provided by Steven Roughton. Burial followed at Andlusia Memorial Cemetery.

Survivors include his wife, Ethel Mae Gilmore of Dozier; sons and daughters-in-law, Farrell and Teresa Gilmore of Andalusia and Billy and Kathy Gilmore of Dozier; sons, Larry Ray Gilmore of Mississippi and Kenneth Gilmore of Dozier; daughters, Mary Janice Baker of Andalusia, Jeanette Jackson of Andalusia and Myra Gilmore of Dozier; daughter and son-in-law Shania and Michael Lunsford of Opp; 22 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were John McCormack, Marvin Moore, Jimmy Liles, David Hammett, Mike Roughton and Steven Roughton.
