Andalusia Country Club was a busy place on Saturday, Sept. 20 with golfers from Alabama and Florida competing in a tournament.

The golfers were competing in the Andalusia Women’s Golf Association annual Invitational Tournament.

Thirty-four teams, or 68 golfers, participated in the annual event at Andalusia Country Club.

The weather was perfect with a bright sun providing a warm temperature. A cool breeze kept it from getting too warm as the golfers made their rounds.

Alice Mullen and Suzanne Bendiger won the Championship Flight "A" division. The duo was playing out of Troy Country Club.

Sue Doyle and Tish Wynn of Milton, Fla. finished as the runner ups in the flight.

The Championship Flight "B" winners were Lorene Crutchfield and Carolyn Mullen of Ozark.
