The Kinston Lady Bulldogs defeated the Opp Lady Bobcats in high school volleyball action Thursday.

The Lady Bulldogs won the match by taking the first three games. The first two games were won by large margins with Opp keeping it close in the third game.

Kinston won the first game of the best-three-out-of-five match by a score of 25-10. The second game went to Kinston by a score of 25-11.

In the third game, Opp stayed close but Kinston managed to get the win by a final score of 25-22 to win the game and match.

In junior varsity action, Kinston won by a final score of 25-13, 25-7.

The Opp volleyball teams return to action on Tuesday when the Andalusia Lady Bulldogs visit for a 4 p.m. match.
