Wilmer Gerald Queen

Wilmer Gerald Queen, 55, of Andalusia died September 30, 2003 in an Opp hospital.

Graveside funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Thursday, October 2, 2003 at the Stone Lake Gardens Cemetery with Keahey Funeral Home directing and with wiregrass chaplain Talmadge Butler oficiating. Special music was provided by the family and by Kathy Queen.

Survivors include his wife, Angela Queen of Opp; sons, Brandon Gerald Queen of Phenix City and Wilmer Gerald Queen Jr.; daughter, Lesie Gale Sowash of Phenix City; father and step-mother, B.G. and Robbie Queen of Geneva; step-children, Brittany Thomas and Patric Thomas of Andalusia; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Jimmy and Jennie Brogden of Andalusia; and two special friends, Evon Palmer and Shelia Salter.

He was preceded in death by a son, Christopher Douglas Queen.

Pallbearers included Leon Mitchell, Chris Long, Robert Earl Jackson, Rodney Queen, Mike Queen and Robert McDougald.
