Helen Davis Schmauch Green

Helen Davis Schmauch Green, of Miami, died Sunday, September 7, 2003 in an Andalusia hospital.

Funeral services will be Thursday, September 11, 2003 at 10 a.m. from the Dunklin-Herndon Funeral Home of Greenville with Rev. Earl Curenton officiating. Burial will follow in Magnolia Cemetery.

Survivors include her husband, Jerry Green of Miami; a son, Albert P. Schmauch (Bonnie) of Coral Springs, Fla.; grandsons, Jason and Corey Schmauch.

Visitation will be Thursday, September 11, 2003 from 9-10 a.m. at the Funeral Home.

Ellen M. Smith

Ellen M. Smith, 86, of Andalusia, died Tuesday, September 9, 2003 at her residence.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, September 11, 2003 at the Rutledge Cemetery in Crenshaw county with Keahey Funeral Home directing.

Survivors include one step-sister, Nell Sontheimer of Birmingham; and numerous cousins.

Carlis Blocker

Carlis Blocker, 82, of Dozier died Tuesday, September 9, 2003 at an Opp nursing home.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, September 11, 2003 at the Oak Grove Baptist Church with Rev.Frankie McVay officiating and burial following in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 pm. at Foreman Funeral Home and 30 minutes prior to the services.

Survivors include his sons, Bobby L. (Janie) Blocker of Dozier, Harry (Shirley) Blocker of Andalusia; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; brothers, J. Blocker of Laurel Hill, Fla., Wilburn Blocker of Florida, Ed Blocker of Andalusia, Buddy Blocker of Colorado; his sisters, Ruth Mae Spivey of Loango, Hazel Dubose of Andalusia, Willie Frank Luchen of Laurel Hill, Fla.; Onell Anderson of Opp.

Bonnie Mae Matthews

Bonnie Mae Matthews, 92, of Andalusia died Tuesday, September 9, 2003 in an Andalusia hospital.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, September 12, 2003 at Foreman Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Bryan Garrett officiating and burial following in Stone Lake Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, September 11, 2003 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Foreman Funeral Home.

Survivors include her sons, James Robert Matthews of Mobile, Donald Edward Matthews of California and Larry Matthews of Andalusia; six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; her brother, Marshall Bracewell of North Tonawana, N.Y.; and her sisters, Marie Fuller of Columbus, Ga.; and Merlene Barnes of Andalusia and a number of nieces and nephews.
