A 16-year-old girl has been missing from her home since Monday, according to the Covington County Sheriff's Department. Jenna Moody, the daughter of Lisa Cox, was last seen Monday morning before school. The teenager lives at 1886 Millsaps Road in Brewton but attends Pleasant Home School. Her mother is employed with the District Attorney's office in Andalusia.
"We feel like it was a runaway thing," said her mother.
"Whoever picked her up at school took her to our home in Brewton.
"She picked up some clothes and makeup and speakers. We haven't heard
from her since."
Jenna Moody is described as 5 feet tall, 105 pounds, with brown hair, and blue eyes.
"She's in the Beta Club," said Cox. "She's a real smart girl. She's just gotten in with the wrong crowd and made some wrong choices in life. I love her and want her to come home."
Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Jenna L. Moody please contact the Covington County Sheriff's Department at (334) 428-2640.
