Voncile &uot;Granny&uot; Colvin

Voncile &uot;Granny&uot; Colvin, 76, of Red Level died Friday, November 21, 2003 at her residence.

Graveside funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Sunday, November 23, 2003 at the Vera Cruz Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. Green Harrell and Rev. Larry Gaston officiating and Keahey Funeral Home directing.

Survivors included a daughter and son-in-law, Bonnie and Roger Sowell of Red Level; a son and daughter-in-law, Lorenza and Emma Colvin of Red Level; adopted son and daughter-in-law, Tommy and Brenda McVey; sister, Faye Colvin; grandchildren, Kenny Varner, Larisa Kelley and Terry Lasiter; adopted grandchildren, Barbara and Rickey Terry; great-grandchildren, Kerry Varner, Erin Varner, Zack Kelley, Ryan Kelley, Bonnie Kathryn Lasiter, Shannon-Reid Sowell Lasiter; special grandchildren, Filicia Kirkland, April McVey and Michael McVey; special great-grandchildren, Avery McVey and Michael Anthony Kirkland.

She was preceded in death by her husband Cannie Colvin.

Glenda Gale Jeselink

Glenda Gale Jeselink, 59, of Franklin died Saturday, November 22, 2003 at a Mobile hospital. She was a native of Archibald, La. and was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Ed Jeselink of Franklin; one son, Eddie Ray Jeselink Jr. of Red Level; four daguhters, Paula Sue Jeselink of Rayville, La., Tammie Adcock of Natchitoches, La., Wendy Tenney and Becky Turberville, both of Franklin; one brother, Freddie Walker of Vixen, La.; one sister, Sue Lynn Templeton of Baker, La.; and ten grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, November 25, 2003 at 2 p.m. at the Franklin Church of God with Rev. Thomas L. Lewis officiating with burial following in the Jeselink Family Cemetery in Franklin with Johnson Funeral Home of Monroeville in charge of all arrangements.

Madell Bessie Shear Jeffcoat

Madell Bessie Shear Jeffcoat, 90, of Opp died Saturday, November 22, 2003.

Funeral serices were held

at the First Baptist Church of Opp on Monday, November 24, 2003 at 2 p.m. with Rev. David Franklin officiating and with burial following in Peaceful Acres Memorial Gardens in Opp. Visitation will be at the church one hour prior to services.

She is survived by daughters and son-in-law, Sandra and Jack Pugh of Enterprise; Julie and Ronnie Harrison of Opp; daughter, Brenda Moulton of Montgomery; sister, Doot Benton of Opp; grandchildren, T.J. Harrison, Beth Campbell, Robby Moulton, Jay Pugh, John Pugh; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

The family has established a special fund for carillons at First Baptist Church , 110 East Hart Avenue, Opp, AL 36467.

Ila Vaye Williamson Mosley

Ila Vaye Williamson Mosley, 84, died Thursday, November 20, 2003 in a local nursing home.

Graveside services were held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Mt. Pisgah Cemetery with Rev. Drexall Copeland officiating and Foreman Funeral Home directing and with burial following.

She is survived by her brother, Hiram Williamson of Milton, Fla.; and 15 nieces and nephews.

Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the chairty of your choice.

Treeva Hazel Teel Godwin

Treeva Hazel Teel Godwin, 86, of Andalusia, died Wednesday, November 19, 2003 in Prattville.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Saturday, November 22, 2003 at Mobley Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Rick Freeman and Rev. Buddy King officiating and with Foreman Funeral Home directing. Burial followed in Mobley Creek cemtery.

She is survived by her daughter, Rebecca (Charles) Colvin of Huntsville; sons, Hilton (Sandy) Godwin of Prattville, Larry (Patty) Godwin of Louisanna; eight grandchildren, Chuck (Melody) Colvin, Steven (Krista) Colvin, Laura Godwin, Michael (Sandra) Godwin, Chris (Missy) Godwin, Melissa Godwin, Heather (Chris) McGovern, Ted (Michelle) McQuiston; 16 great-grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were Michael Godwin, Chuck Colvin, Chris Godwin, Ted McQuiston, Jack Lawrence, Steven Colvin.

Charles Smith

Charles Smith, 50, of Rose Hill died Saturday, November 22, 2003 at his residence.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday, November 24, 2003 at the Macedonia Methodist Church with Rev. Elbert Freeney and Rev Earl Kelley officiating. Special music was provided by the family. Burial followed in the Macedonia Methodist Church Cemetery with Keahey Funeral Home directing.

Survivors include his wife, Brenda Joyce Smith; son, Charles Derrick Smith; and sister, Dora Lorraine Etheridge.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Daniel and Mattie Smith.

Pallbearers included Jimmy Hammett, David Chappel, Tom Moore, Harold Goodson, Robert Fleming and Derrick Smith.
