Rufus &uot;Buddy&uot; Griggs

Rufus &uot;Buddy&uot; Griggs, 55, of the Carolina community, died Wednesday, December 3, 2003 at his residence.

Funeral arrangements will be announced by Foreman Funeral Home.

Annette Pettus Holloway

Annette Pettus Holloway, 31, of Andalusia died Wednesday, December 3, 2003.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, December 5, 2003 from Foreman Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Greg Cotter officiating. The visitation will be Thursday, December 4, 2003 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Foreman Funeral Home.

Survivors include her husband, Paul Holloway of Andalusia, her sons, Josh Pettus and Tyler Holloway; daughter, Amber Holloway; her parents, Paul and Shelby Pettus of Andalusia; sister, Stephanie (Todd) Cooley of Mobile; her brothers, Jonathan (Luanna) Pettus of Brazil, Ind.; and Christopher (Kelly) Pettus of Andalusia; nieces and nephews, Justin, Mason, Summer, Jessica, Little, Jonathan, K.G., Joe, Brianna and Shane.

Catherine Puckett Holland Kitchens

Catherine Puckett Holland Kitchens passed away on December 2, 2003 after a brief illness at Andalusia Healthcare.

Born October 18, 1922, she lived most of her life in Mobile before moving to Andalusia. She was a Veteran of WWII, homemaker, and a wonderful mother, a devoted Catholic and member of Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church in Semmes.

Survivors include two sons and three daughters, Gilbert Holland (Jan) of Andalusia, Johnnie Holland (Wanda) of Mobile, Kay Clemmons (Bubba) of Atmore, Faye Holland of Wilmer and Jo Catherine Holland of Gulf Shores; 10 grandchildren, Leslie and Jason Campbell, Kellie, Michael, and Mark Holland, Ashley and Jimmy Rowe, Kevin Holland, Dell and Shelley Clemmons; six great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, December 6, 2003 with Father Ahearn officiating. Arrangements are being handled by Pine Crest Cemetery on Dauphin Island Parkway.
