Lady Bulldogs fall to TRM

The varsity girls basketball game between the T.R. Miller Lady Tigers and the Andalusia Lady Bulldogs went to the visiting Tigers Friday.
Andalusia fell behind 16-6 in the first quarter and never recovered.
The Lady Tigers were on top 28-19 at the halftime intermission.
In the third period, the Lady Tigers stretched the lead to 13 points by a score of 36-23.
T.R. Miller went on to record a 13-point victory by a final score of 50-37.
Joy McCorvey paced the Lady Tigers with 15 points. Ashley Samuel added 14 points. Keonshaye Smith added 10 points.
Tanisha Wright was the leading scorer for Andalusia with 10 points. Ann Huff and Jermisha McNeil added 8 points each for the Lady Bulldogs.
Michelle Wells added 4 points. Ashley Johnson hit for 3. Kathy Crittenden and April Daniels each scored 2 points.
The Lady Bulldogs dropped to 4-3 on the season with the loss to the Lady Tigers.
T.R. Miller is now 4-1 on the season with the only loss coming against the Class 6A Selma Lady Saints.
The Lady Bulldogs were scheduled to play Tuesday against the Lady Trojans from Charles Henderson High School. The game, however, has been postponed.
The next game for the Andalusia Lady Bulldogs is now set for Friday, Dec. 19 at Ashford.
