Coach Bobby Dye

Coach Bobby Dye age 60 of Red Level, died Thursday, December 4, 2003 in a Houston hospital.

Funeral services were held Monday, December 8, 2003 at 10 a.m. from Crystal Springs Park in Red Level with burial in the Mott Church of Christ Cemetery.

Minister Irby Perkins and Minister Travis Murray officiated.

Coach Dye, as most people knew him, was a teacher and football coach at Red Level High School. Survivors include his wife, Sharon Dye of Red Level; one son and daughter-in-law Bobby and Sara Dye, Jr. of Andalusia, one daughter and son-in-law Elisa and Randy Edson of Red Level; four grandchildren Emily and Ethon Edson and Sara Grace Dye and Trae Bowen; his parents Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Dye of Leesville, La; three brothers Roddy (Nell) Dye of Opclousas, La, Pat (Liz) Dye of Galveston, Texas and Timmy Dye of Leesville, La.

Flowers or memorials to the M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, will be accepted.

Pallbearers included Patrick Dye, Beu Dye, Andy Dye, Shane Lee, Randy Edson, Tommy Holder, Jr. Honorary Pallbearers included Coaching Staff and the 2003 Red Level Football Team.

Sue Bowdoin

Sue Bowdoin, age 65, of Andalusia, died Thursday, December 4, 2003 at her residence.

Grave side funeral services were held Saturday, December 6, 2003 at 2 p.m. at Mt. Zion Methodist Church Cemetery with Keahey Funeral Home directing.

Special music was provided by Susan Tubberville and Melinda Kimmons.

Pastor John Hunt officiated the services.

Survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law Thomas and Cristy Bowdoin Williams of Chelsa; John and Cindy Raley of Town Creek; Daniel Raley of Andalusia; three daughters and sons-in-law Sandra and Frankie Berry of Andalusia, Polly and Randy Pace of Muscle Shoals, Becky and William Tubberville of Andalusia; two brothers John Wilder of Opelika, Cecil Wilder of Wetumpka; one sister Eva Mae Henderson of Montgomery; nine grandchildren and two step-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Dalton Raley in 1977 and James Rufus Bowdoin in 2000.

Pallbearers included Ronnie Tubberville, Josh Myers, Chip Williams, Joseph Berry, Robert Edward and Billy McBride.

Nadine Cauley Grissett

Nadine Cauley Grissett, 74, of River Falls, died Saturday, December 6, 2003 at her residence.

Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, December 7 at the River Falls Baptist Church with Reverend Jesse Smallwood and Reverend Buford Brady officiating with burial in the River Falls Cemetery.

Survivors include her husband T.E. "Buddy" Grissett of River Falls, three sons Bobby (Tina) Grissett of Pensacola, Tommy (Janice) Grissett of River Falls and Phil (Michelle) Grissett of Prattville, one daughter Connie (Glenn) Rose of River Falls, nine grandchildren Olivia Grissett, Julia Grissett, Christy Rodgers, Julie Baker, Erin Caldwell, Rickey Grissett, Jacob Grissett, April Rose and Crystal Rose, 5 great grandchildren, Lakyn Rodgers, Jessica Rodgers, Ashley Baker, Emily Baker and Mitchell Baker and one brother J.T. (France) Cauley, Jr.
