Estelle Smith Hubbard

Mrs. Estelle Smith Hubbard, 87, of Andalusia, died Tuesday, December 9, 2003 in a Dothan hospital.

Funeral services will be Thursday, December 11 at 2 p.m. at the Four Points Baptist Church in Centreville with Rev. Jerry Doss and Rev. Bob Randall officiating with burial in Pineland Memorial Cemetery. Foreman Funeral Home directing.

Survivors include her son Steve (Harriet) Hubbard of Andalusia and three step grandchildren Kyle, Maggie and Wesley Boatwright and one step great grandchild Lexi Odom; her niece Mary Jo Stewart Davis of Greensboro and her nephews, Dr. Jerry Smith of Louisville, Ky. and Mike Smith of Shelbyville, Ky.

Pallbearers are Kyle Boatwright, Wesley Boatwright, Johnny Davis, Paul Hubbard, Richard Hubbard and David Little.

Alene Morgan Odom

Mrs. Alene Morgan Odom, age 76, of Red Level, died Tuesday, December 9, 2003 in a Dothan hospital.

Homegoing celebration services will be held at 6 p.m., Thursday, December 11, 2003 at Keahey Funeral Home Chapel of Andalusia. A eulogy will be provided by son, Major Danny Odom, USMC Ret. Special music will be provided by daughter-in-law, Ramona Odom

The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 11, 2003 from 5 p.m., until time of services at Keahey Funeral Home of Andalusia.

Survivors include husband, Rev. C. Buster Odom, Red Level; two sons, Mickey Odom, Red Level; Danny and daughter-in-law Ramona Odom, Headland; three brothers, C. Douglas Morgan, Andalusia; Donald R. Morgan, Fayette; Cellus Morgan, Jr., Elberta; three sisters, Ruth Page, Andalusia; Glenda Alsup, Albertville; Nell McKenzie, Decatur; grandchildren, Matthew Owens, Cameron Odom, Mickey Walker, Sandi Odom; step-great-grandchild, Brittany (Nikki) Walker.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, December 12, 2003 at the Gardens of Memory between Dothan and Headland with Rev. Winford Gulledge officiating. Keahey Funeral Home of Andalusia will be directing.

Leon Grady Barnes

Grady Barnes, 72, of Gulf Breeze, died on Monday, December 8, 2003, following a brief

illness.

Mr. Barnes

was born on May 20, 1931 in Florala and resided in the Pensacola area since 1953. He had been a resident of Gulf Breeze since 1967.

Mr. Barnes attended Troy State University. He served in

the United States Marine Corps during the Korean War as a member of the First Marine Air Wing. Mr. Barnes retired in 1989 from Bell South after 35 years of service. He was a long standing member of Gulf Breeze United Methodist Church.

Mr. Barnes was preceded in death by his father and mother, Grover C. Barnes and Claudie Lowery Barnes; and a brother, Frank Barnes. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Yvonne Livings Barnes; son, Alan Barnes of Housto; daughter and son-in-law, Belinda Barnes de Kozan and Von de Kozan of Gulf Breeze, and their children,

Philip and Mitchell de Kozan; brothers, Glen Barnes of Ozark and Paul Barnes of Florala; as well as a large extended family.

Funeral services will take place on Thursday, December 11, 2003 at 10:30 a.m. at Gulf Breeze United Methodist Church with Reverend Mack Strange and Reverend Gerald Munday officiating.

Jay Erickson; Dr. George Dmytrenko; Dr. Donald Todd; and the nurses and staff at Gulf Breeze Hospital who served our loved one and us with such professionalism and compassion during these past few weeks.
