Red Level Tigers tame Luverne

The Red Level High School varsity boys' basketball team earned another win Friday night.

The Tigers hosted the Luverne Tigers and won by a final score of 75-45.

Red Level was on top 38-12 at the halftime intermission.

Frank Tolbert paced Red Level on offense with 21 points. Tim Ryce scored 13 points.

Luverne's leading scorer was Gary Franklin with 17 points.

Luverne won the varsity girls' game by outscoring Red level 46-25.

Erica Crawford scored 5 points for Red Level. Janaye Brown added 4 points.

The Red Level Tigers won the B-team game by a final score of 39-30.

Troy Calloway had 10 points to pace Red Level. Dominic Williams added 9 points.

Princeton Ryce and Casey Hardage had 7 points each.

The Red Level basketball teams return to action on Tuesday when the Georgiana Panthers come to town.

The B-team game tips off the action at 4:30 p.m. followed by the varsity girls' game.

The varsity boys' game will be the final game of the night.
