Troy Baseball announces that registration is on-going for two winter baseball camps. The first of these two camps will take place from Jan. 2, 3 & 5, 2004 and will be available for players from the age of 7-15. These half-day sessions will cover the basic fundamentals of the game, including hitting, pitching and fielding.

This camp, as well as the Pre-Season High School Camp, will be held at the MVP Training Center, located in Troy. This 2,200-square-foot facility has two indoor cages, pitching mounds and other training areas. This facility also features a full size baseball field.

On Jan. 17 & 19, 2004, the second Pre-Season High School Camp will be conducted at the MVP Center. Troy State University Assistant Baseball Coach, Mark Smartt, TSU Pitching Coach Todd Lamberth, Charles Henderson Head Baseball Coach Steve Garrett, as well as Ron Pierce, owner of Troy Baseball will provide instruction. This camp is for all high school players from the surrounding area and will be a great way to prepare for the upcoming high school season. The day and half camp will be limited to the first 25 players to sign up.

To register, or for more information, please go to: www.troybaseball.com or call Ron Pierce at (334) 670-9953.
