Tigers shoot down Squadron

The Red Level boys' basketball teams recorded wins last night in home games against the visiting Highland Home Flying Squadron. The Lady Tigers were not as fortunate falling to the visiting team.

In the B-team game, Red Level posted a 57-47 win.

Dominic Williams led the way with 22 points. Princeton Ryce had a big night going for 17 points in the win. Casey Hardage had 9 points for Red Level.

Highland Home's leading scorer was Rico Harris with 14 points.

In the varsity girls' game, Highland Home recorded a 70-18 win.

Jessica Crawford was the leading scorer for Red Level with 8 points. Janaye Brown, Chequita Calloway and Samantha Legault also scored for the Lady Tigers.

In the varsity boys' contest, Red Level won by a final score of 71-63.

Frank Tolbert was the leading scorer for the Tigers with 27 points in the win.

Larry Hudson and Will McInvale added 10 points each.

Also scoring for the Tigers were Tim Ryce, Russell Rigdon, Chris Hendrix, Malcolm Lawson and Eric Longmire.

Mike Green was the leading scorer for Highland Home with 32 points in the loss.

The Red Level team returns to action on Thursday when they host the Frisco City Whippets beginning at 4:30 p.m.

Thursday night will also be "Senior Night" at Red Level with a special ceremony to honor the seniors.
