The Red Level Tigers followed up a loss to the T.R. Miller Tigers on Saturday with a win against the McKenzie Tigers last night.

Red Level went on top early and held a 16-8 lead after one quarter of play.

The Red Level players stretched the lead to 37-23 by halftime.

The score was 62-36 in favor of Red Level after three quarters of action.

The win improves Red Level's record to 16-5. McKenzie is now 5-12.

Will McInvale scored 16 points. Frank Tolbert added 15 in the win.

Also scoring for Red Level were Jermaine Jackson, Justin Griggs, Larry Hudson, Eric Longmire, Tim Ryce, Russell Rigdon, Malcolm Lawson, Chris Hendrix and Randall Hunt.

Russell Davison was the leading scorer for McKenzie with 15 points. David Davison added 10.

Also scoring for McKenzie were Rhett Lowe, Theo Cobb, James Ball and Jordan Lowe.

The Red Level Tigers fell to T.R. Miller at the final horn Saturday by a final score of 49-46.

McInvale was the leading scorer in the loss with 19 points. Tolbert added 12. Also scoring against T.R. Miller were Hudson, Ryce, Rigdon and Lawson.

The Red Level Lady Tigers (1-21) lost to McKenzie (5-12) by a final score of 46-21 last night.

McKenzie was on top 14-0 after one quarter of play.

Red Level mounted a comeback bid and was down by just seven points at the half by a score of 20-13.

McKenzie slammed the door on the rally in the second half pulling away for a 46-21 win.

Red Level's points came from Oleshia Anderson, Chequita Calloway, Jessica Crawford, Janaye Brown and Starla Jones.

McKenzie's leading scorer was Kassie Everett with 14 points. Also scoring were Carrera Davison, Candis Davison, LaSha Pitts, Pauline Thompson, Lindsey Odom, Amber Rudolph and Jamica McPherson.

The Red Level squad lost to T.R. Miller 83-22 on Saturday.

Red Level's 22 points came from Adrianna Calloway, Erica Crawford, Terrisa Franklin, Samantha Legault, Chequita Calloway and Jesica Calloway.

The Red Level B-team Tigers topped McKenzie, 54-27 last night.

Red Level's points came from Princeton Ryce, Clay Marshall, Tyler Walker, Troy Calloway, Casey Hardage, Cody Ingram, Renaldo Crittenden, Dominic Williams, Jonathon Griggs, Robert Boswell, Cale Nolen and D.J. Sankey.

McKenzie's points came from Sattrick Rudolph, Jerell Adams, Stefan Jones and Elrick Ball.

The Red Level B-team fell to T.R. Miller by a final score of 42-24 on Saturday.

Red Level's points came from Princeton Ryce, Clay Marshall, Tyler Walker, Troy Calloway, Casey Hardage, Dominic Williams, Robert Boswell, Ethan Bush and Jonathon Griggs.

The Red Level Tigers are back in action tonight when the Highland Home Flying Squadron comes to town. Tip-off is set for 4:30 p.m.

The Red Level Tigers will host the Class 2A, Area 2 Tournament at Red Level High School on Thursday, Feb. 12 and Saturday, Feb. 14.

Excel will play Flomaton at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday followed by the game between Red Level and Georgiana.

The Class 2A, Area 2 Area Tournament Championship Game will be played at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 14 in the gymnasium at Red Level High School.
