Saints stay busy

The LBW Community College athletic teams are staying busy.
The LBWCC men's basketball team, women's basketball team, baseball team and softball team are all playing games as their seasons overlap this month.
The LBWCC basketball teams split against Northwest Shoals on Monday.
The Lady Saints lost to the visitors from Muscle Shoals while the men's team earned a win.
The men's team will be back in action tonight when they host Gadsden State for a 7 p.m. game.
Both the women and men will be on the hardwood Friday when Snead State visits the Andalusia campus. The women's game is slated for a 5:30 p.m. tip-off followed by the men's game at 7 p.m.
The LBWCC softball team began the season at a tournament in Dothan this past Saturday.
The Lady Saints dropped both games falling to Wallace-Dothan by a final score of 10-0.
The Lady Saints also failed to score against Chattahoochee Valley falling by a final score of 11-0.
The LBWCC baseball team began the season on Monday after games were cancelled on Saturday and Sunday.
The Saints won both games of a doubleheader against Bevill-Sumiton.
The Saints won the first game 8-0 and took the second game by a final score of 4-2.
The Saints baseball team will be back in action today when they play Faulkner University at 3 p.m. The game will be played at LBWCC.
The Saints are scheduled to travel to Pensacola on Saturday to play Pensacola Junior College at 2:30 p.m. The Saints will host PJC at 2 p.m. on Sunday.
