The Greenville City Council will meet at 5:30 p.m. in the Council chambers on Monday, Jan. 10.

The County Commission will meet at 10 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 10 in the Commission Chambers in the Butler County Courthouse Annex.

Sen. Richard Shelby will hold a town hall meeting at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 11 at the Greenville Depot.

Jan. 13

The Tribe of Judah will appear at the Ritz Theatre on Jan. 13, at 7 p.m.

Jan. 15

REMAC (the Rural Electric Members Action Committee) will hold its first quarterly meeting of 2005 on Saturday, Jan. 15, at the Ritz Theatre in Greenville.

The meeting will begin at 10 a.m.

Call To Life Church in Greenville will be hosting singer-songwriter and speaker Jerry Arhelger during its Concert and Unity Fest slated for 10:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. Sun. Windwood Drive will have its &uot;tunnel of lights&uot; again this year.

The lights will be on every night until after Christmas.

The Butler County Board of Education will offer a free Substitute Teacher Training session on Monday, Jan. 3 and Tuesday, Jan. 4 from 12:30-2:30 pm at the Butler County Board of Education Office.
