Here it is folks, the first news of a new year.

Time to turn over that new leaf. Time to start something new and try to stick with it longer this time than last year.

Word of Faith has started the New Year off "sweet." Paula's Angels led by member Paula Kilpatrick cooked up chocolate chip cookies and cookie bars in the church kitchen and delivering them to the sick and elderly.

Members Chelsey Mosley, Anna Kilpatrick and Christa Faulk were out and about Jan. 3 bringing smiles with their treats.

If you know of someone who needs assistance or wants to help, please call Pastor Ron Hackathorn and he will pass the word along to this group.

God hears and answers prayers.

Please pray for Patsey Brooks and Sharon Boyett, who are going to have surgery.

Please continue to pray for the Witherington family.

Please pray for the Roberts
