The following complaints were filed at the Butler County Sheriff#039;s Office during the period from Dec. 2 to Dec. 5:

Dec. 2

n A complaint was made at the corner of South Pine and Walnut streets by Investigator Kenneth Hadley when a subject gave him a false name.

Dec. 3

n A complaint was made on Mary Lane for domestic violence and harassment.

Dec. 4

n A complaint was filed for criminal mischief on Honoraville Road after a subject drove his vehicle through a yard, striking a banana tree and then running one wheel off into an inground pool.

n A complaint was made on Pineapple Highway

for animal cruelty when a man alleged he found his neighbor's dog at his home and when the tried to run the dog off, the dog allegedly tried to bite him. The man shot at the dog and the neighbor filed a warrant.

n The neighbor in the above complaint filed his own complaint for the neighbor having a dangerous dog.

n A complaint was filed by a deputy after he witnessed erratic driving by the subject on Highway 106.

On stopping the subject, field sobriety tests were administered and failed.

He was also found in possession of pistol without a permit.

Dec. 5

n A complaint was made on Canberry Road for theft of property.

Items stolen included tools.

The following arrests were made by the Butler County Sheriff's Office during the period from Dec. 3 to Dec. 5:

n Mark Cross, 31, was arrested for contempt of court.

n Willie Edward Crenshaw, 49, aka James Ray, was arrested and charged with giving a law enforcement officer a false name.

n LeKevia Tremaine Key, 22, was arrested for contempt of court.

n Sherril L. Page, 29, was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol.
