Fourth Saturday Singing

The GA-ANA Theatre will present Robert Layton and Blu Braden and band for its Fourth Saturday Night Singing at 7 p.m. on Saturday, June 25.

Gospel Singing

On Saturday, June 25th, starting at 6 p.m. The Hendersons and also Spoken For will be in concert at Pleasant Hill Baptist West Church. The church is located in Butler County on County Road # 1 – Nixon Road. Bring your favorite finger food.

Barganier Reunion

The annual Barganier reunion will be held June 25 at the Fort Deposit

Church of Christ fellowship building beginning at 9:30 a.m.

Revival Services

Pleasant Hill Baptist Church-West on Butler County Road 1(Nixon Road) will begin its summer revival on Sunday,

June 26, at 11 a.m. with Pastor John Knight as speaker.

On Monday, June 27, at 7 p.m. Bro. Green Harrell will speak with special music by Brooks Baptist Church Choir.

On Tuesday, June 28, at 7 p.m. Bro. Crawford of Pineapple will speak and special music will be provided by Becky Welch and Danny Kelley. On Wednesday, June 29, at 7 p.m., Pastor John Knight will speak, and special music will be provided by Jubilee Trio.

Men & Women Day

The First Missionary Baptist Church will conclude its Men and Women Day celebration on Sunday, June 26 at 6 p.m. with the Rev. Richard D. McCreary II and the congregation of the New Covenant Baptist Church of Phoenix, Ill., in fellowship.

All local churches are invited to attend.

Homecoming & Revival

Calvary Baptist Church will host their Homecoming and worship service at 10 a.m. and 11 a.m. on Sunday, June 26.

A covered dish lunch will follow in the fellowship hall.

There will be no evening services.

Revival services will start on Monday and go through Wednesday night with each service beginning at 7 p.m. with the Rev. William Burns, pastor of Union Baptist Church, bringing the message.

Special music will be provided each night.

A covered dish supper will be held on Wednesday, June 29th in the fellowship hall with dinner beginning at 6 p.m. Friends and family are invited to attend.

Family & Friends Day

Butler Chapel AME Zion Church will celebrate Family and Friends Day at 3 p.m. on Sunday, June 26, 2005.

The Rev. Thorin Shambray, pastor of the First Missionary Baptist Church of Warrior, will be the guest minister.

The Rev. William F. Scott III, pastor of Butler Chapel and the congregation invite everyone to attend.

McGough Family Reunion

The McGough Family Reunion will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Sunday, June 26 at Pavilion #1 at Sherling Lake.

The GHS Class of '73 will celebrate with a "Turning 50" birthday bash on July 4, 2005, at 7 p.m. at the Cambrian Ridge Club House.

Attire is semi-formal, and the colors are purple, red and gold.

Concerts to continue in park
