Georgiana coach Greg Ennis doesn't put much into the preseason, but don't be surprised if there's a help wanted ad in the paper for an offensive lineman.

The Panthers were shut out last Friday by Escambia County 17-0, but the more disturbing stat of the night was Georgiana's inability to block.

"I think we had 46 offensive plays and we blocked about three of those plays," Ennis said. "We just had a total breakdown along the offensive line."

So it may be back to the drawing board for Ennis this week to find a cohesive line to open some holes for senior tailback Zane Stackhouse.

Ennis makes his head coaching debut Friday at Harmon Field when the Panthers play host to non-region foe Samson.

While Ennis was able to get some kind of a scouting report on the Tigers, he's still unsure what to expect from first-year head coach Mike Robinson.

"I know they may line up in the I-formation or run the option. They are going to be multiple team, which means I'm not sure what they will run out of on Friday night," Ennis said.

The score of Friday's game may be a bit misleading considering Stackhouse saw limited playing time. He rushed the ball for 20 yards on just three carries.

While Ennis is concerned about his offensive line, he also pointed out three dropped passes that should have been caught last Friday.

"We had three touchdown passes that we just dropped," he said. "I would say right now we are our toughest team of the season."
