Hutson closing in on Pure Stock leader

Robert Hutson inched closer to the top two racers in the Pure Stock Hogg rear-wheel drive division Saturday night after coming away with the feature race victory.
Hutson stands in third place in the points standings with 99 points behind Ben Callen, who is second with 109, and the leader Bo Jordan at 120 points.
Jack Callen finished second in the feature race followed by John Edgar.
Hutson and Callen came away with a heat race victory.
Carey Stallworth padded his points lead with a feature win in the Hogg front-wheel drive division. Johnny Beck, who is second in the points race, finished second and Lamar Fowler was third.
Beck also came away with the heat race title.
Jack Daughtry is drawing closer to points leader Jim Till in the Late Model division after coming away with a heat victory and the feature win. Till finished second in the feature race followed by Curt Ryals.
Dewey Boggan caught fire again on the Butler County dirt track Saturday by winning the feature and a heat race in the Street Stock division.
Will Henderson, who leads the points race with 151 points, finished second in the feature followed by Gerald Brown.
David Ward won the first heat race.
Randy Adams added to his points lead in the Super Hobbie division with a feature race victory. He managed to hold off Rodney Best, who won the heat race, while Todd Adams finished third.
