Luverne School recently partnered with First Citizens Bank and SMART this past week to raise money for the Hurricane Katrina Disaster Relief Fund. The Luverne Rotary Club also contributed funds which totaled $14,671.

Checks were presented to Jane Thrash, a representative with the American Red Cross, this past Friday during Luverne's pep rally at Glenn Daniel Stadium.
