Collins, Boutwell unite in marriage

Jane McRae Collins and Andrew Lewis Boutwell were united in marriage on February 19, 2005 at the First Baptist Church at St. Simons Island, Ga. Rev. Kristan Bryant, brother-in-law of the groom, and Christopher Rogers officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Dr. Braswell Elisha Collins and Lucy Holliday Rogers of Macon, Ga. She is the granddaughter of Dr. and Mrs. Peter Osbourne Holliday Jr. and the late Dr. and Mrs. Braswell Elisha Collins of Macon, Ga.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Lewis Boutwell of Prattville. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Eric Obie Cates Jr. and Mrs. Lewis Roye Boutwell and the late Mr. Boutwell of Greenville.

Attending the brides as maids of honor were Lucy Faith Collins, Mary Lindsay Collins and Elisabeth Cordelia Collins of Macon, Ga., sisters of the bride. Bridesmaids were Katherine Boutwell Bryant of Asheville, N.C., sister of the groom; Dorothy Zimmerman Holliday of Macon, cousin of the bride; Jess Vinson Margeson of Auburn; Darcy Matthews Moseley and Rachel Lorith Pickett of Birmingham; Sarah Kathleen Newton of Prattville; Emily Baldschun Pettit of Chattanooga and Nana Settles Pownall of Daphne.

Mary Beth Hatchett of Goosecreek, S.C., cousin of the groom, served as flower girl.

The groom's father served as best man. Groomsmen were John Thomas Boutwell of Prattville, brother of the groom; John Tamer Goff and Rance Elic Neighbors of Rockford and James Whitfield Moncrief, Carlton Shahan Nichols, Nicholas Garrett Pelham and William Jeremy Sharpe, all of Prattville. The ringbearer was Matthew Cade Balckmon of Opelika, cousin of the groom.

The reception was held at the home of the bride's father at Sea Island, Ga. After a wedding trip to Jekyll and Cumberland Islands, the couple now resides in Atlanta.
