Lewis, Burrell to wed in December

Mr. and Mrs. Willie Earl Lewis of Greenville are pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, LaWanda Yvonne, to DeMorris Burrell Jr. of Houston.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. John H. Crenshaw Sr. of Greenville and Mary Gregory and the late Willie James Savage of Greenville.
Miss Lewis is a 1994 graduate of Greenville High School. She received her Bachelor of Arts in sociology from Stillman College in 1998 and is currently employed with Hewitt Associates, Inc. in The Woodlands, Texas. She is a member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc.
The prospective groom is the son of Catherine Newton and the late Demorris Burrell Sr. of Monroe, La. He is the grandson of Shirley Robinson and the late Cleveland Robinson of Monroe.
Mr. Burrell is a 1993 graduate of Carroll High School. He is a Texas certified firefighter and is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in business administration from the University of Houston.
The couple will exchange vows at 2 p.m on December 17, 2005 at Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Greenville.
