pitch shutout over Red

Daphne Moore and Bailey Fox combined for 30 points as the Purple Team (1-2) pitched a shutout of the Red Team (0-3) 30-0, in Fort Dale Academy youth basketball league play. Moore chipped in 14, scoring 12 in the first half, while Fox scored 10 of her 16 points in the second half.

n Nedra Toulman Crosby led all scorers with six points as the Green Team (3-0) defeated the White Team (2-1), 12-6. Hannah Johnson, Katie Fox and Morgan Gibson added two points each in the win. Susan Cole, Bethany Nolon and Caroline Snellgrove scored two points each for the White Team.

n Chip Taylor posted 10 points going two-for-four from the line to lead the White Team (2-1) to a 20-10 win over the Light Blue Team (1-3).

Cade Tillery added six points in the win with Hudson Branum scoring four points. Dylan Jones led the Light Blues with seven points with Jack &#8220Shaq” Bates adding three points.

n Harper Vinson scored all of his game-high seven points in the first half to lead the Red Team (2-2) to a 17-4 win over the Yellow Team.

James Burkett added six points and Ryan Taylor four points in the win. John Coleman Poole led the Yellows (1-3) with three points with Wesley Scott scoring one point.
