Susan Peacock Pate of Evergreen and Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Pate of Evergreen announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Susan Elizabeth, to Anthony Layton Scott, son of Patricia Brown Scott of Georgiana and Mr. and Mrs. Layton Scott of Georgiana.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Jane Peacock of Evergreen and the late Richard Lee Peacock and John Henry Pate of Evergreen and the late Evelyn Pate. The prospective groom is the grandson of Morris Brown of Evergreen and the late Betty Lois Brown and the late Fisher and Louise Scott of Georgiana.

The wedding is planned for 2 p.m. on March 4, 2006 at First Baptist Church in Georgiana. All friends and relatives are cordially invited to attend.
