Watts, Hancock tabbed to play in annual AISA All-Star Game

Fort Dale Academy's Maryanne Hancock and Frances Watts make up part of the West squad that will participated in the 36th annual AISA All-Star Basketball Classic at Huntingdon College's Delchamps Student Center today in Montgomery.

The girls game will tip off at 6 p.m. with the boys to follow.

Members of the West girls team are: Christian Shelter and Gerica Johnson of Faith Academy, Frances Watts and Maryanne Hancock of Fort Dale, Cecily Ogden (Jefferson Christian), Kayla Cates (Kingwood), Felicia Sprott (Marion Military Institute), Amanda Newman and Jessie Wilson of Mobile Christian, Kane Andrews and Lauren Downing of Patrician Academy and Olivia James (South Choctaw).

The East girls team features Amy Wilson (Autauga Academy), Michele Ingram and Jessica Wallace of Edgewood and Elizabeth Reynolds (Macon-East). Other members of the team are: Kelly Patton (Clarke Prep), Lori Bonds and Allison Thomas of Escambia Academy, Jane Carol Smith (Lee-Scott), Michelle Sims (Lowndes Academy), Elyse McIntyre (Meadowview), Eden Harris (Pike Liberal Arts) and Ashton Garner (Sparta Academy).

The East boys team include Jesse Dailey and Bryan Weight of Autauga Academy, Philip Moore and Daniel Gillian of Edgewood, Kyle Phillips (Macon-East) and Justin Gann (Taylor Road). Other team members are: Jake Turner (Clarke Prep), Klein Jones (Crenshaw Christian), Jeff Taylor (Escambia Academy), Andy Rocha (Glenwood School), Brad Sanders (Lakeside School) and Will Ivey (Sparta).

The West boys team include Hooper Academy’s Lane Dodson, Ty Youngblood (Cornerstone Christian), Will Curry (Cottage Hill), A.J. McQueen (Faith Academy), Adam Irby (Kingwood), Javoris Smith (Marion Military Institute), Trent Dawson (Monroe Academy), Ben Callaway (Morgan Academy), Blake Foster (Pickens Academy), Clifton Lewis (Tuscaloosa Academy), Jamichael Rivers (Warrior Academy) and Zach Kennedy (Wilcox Academy).
