n Softball Meeting

The Greenville Parks and Recreation Department will hold an adult softball spring league organizational meeting at 6 p.m. March 16 at Dunbar Gym. The meeting is for men, women and church league teams. All teams interested in playing must attend. Call 382-3031 or 382-8708 for more information.

n Initial Sermon Service

Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church will have its initial sermon from Sister Minnie Ball at 2 p.m. March 19. Everyone is invited and encouraged to attend.

n Christian Concert

Fresh Anointing, Resting Place and The Burning Bush Family will be in concert starting at 6 p.m. March 25 at the Antioch Campground

n Women's Day Celebration

Harrison Street Missionary Baptist Church will hold its annual Women's Day Celebration starting at 2 p.m. March 26 at the church. The speaker will be Sister Vivian O'Neal. All women who attend are asked to wear white. Everyone is invited and encouraged to attend.

n Kindergarten Registration

Kindergarten registration will be 6-8 p.m. at W.O. Parmer on March 28. Two forms of residency, original birth certificate, social security card, and immunization records are required.

-April 1-

n Easter Egg Hunt

The Georgiana Community Easter Egg Hunt will be at 11 a.m. April 1 at Ida Wood Park of Highway 31 outside of Georgiana. Prizes will be given away. The egg hunt is sponsored by the Georgiana Children Depot Youth Center.

n Homecoming Service Cancelled

Pastor Clarence Smith has announced that Friendship Pentecostal Holiness Church on Hwy 45 in Georgiana has cancelled their Homecoming Services scheduled for April 1 due to illness. Regular services will be held that morning.

n Easter Egg Hunt

The Greenville Parks and Recreation Department will sponsor its annual Easter Egg Hunt at the Beeland Sports Complex beginning at 10 a.m. April 15. The hunts will be open for toddlers through 2-year-olds; preschoolers ages 3-5 years and first and second graders. A gold and silver prize will be given for each division. n City Track Meet

The Greenville Parks and Recreation Department will host its annual city track meet beginning at 10 a.m. April 22 at the old Greenville High football practice field on School Highland Road. In the event of rain, the meet will be rescheduled for April 29 at the same location. Call 382-3031 for more information.
