Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Owens of Luverne announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Jessica Rae, to Jeremy Lee Rowell of Troy, son of Mr. Dennis Rowell of Crestview, Fla., and Mrs. Joyce Bolton of Milton, Fla.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Blackmon of Brantley and Mrs. Wilma Owens and the late Mr. D.A. (Pete) Owens of Luverne.

The prospective bridegroom is the grandson of Ms. Lanie West of Crestview, Fla., Ms. Lillie Rowell and the late Mr. Shelby Rowell of Jay, Fla., and Ms. Lavada Meeks.

Miss Owens graduated from Troy State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. She has recently received a Master's degree in Elementary Education from Troy University.

Mr. Rowell graduated from Troy State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Math and Physical Science and a Master's degree in Foundations of Education. He is the co-defensive coordinator and corners coach for Troy University football.

The couple will exchange vows on April 15, 2006 at Sorrell Chapel in Troy at 5:30 p.m. with a reception immediately following at the Troy University Stadium Club. Family and friends are invited to attend the ceremony and reception.
