Dr. and Mrs. David J. Brand of Montgomery are pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of Amy Jeanette Stewart and Jeffrey David Brand of Birmingham, Ala.

Miss Stewart is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert W. Stewart of Mountain Brook, Ala.

Mr. Brand is the Son of Dr. and Mrs. David J. Brand.

The wedding is planned for June 18, 2006 in Seagrove Beach, Fla.

Miss Stewart is the granddaughter of Mrs. Frances Stewart and the late Mr. Melvin Stewart and the late Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Weekley of Mobile. Ala.

She is a graduate of the University of Alabama where she earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering, as well as certification in Environmental Engineering.

Miss Stewart is employed with Alabama Power.

Mr. Brand is the grandson of Mrs. Dorothy M. Wyatt and the late Mr. Andrew J. Wyatt of Luverne, Ala., and the late Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Brand of Birmingham.

He is a graduate of the University of Alabama where he earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Microbiology.

He is currently enrolled in the graduate program at UAB and is pursuing a Ph.D. in biomedical science.
