Crowne welcomes new administration

Crowne Healthcare of Greenville recently announced its new administration for the facility.

Bryan Jones, who will serve as interim administrator, began the position June 6. He has been with Crowne Management for the last 15 years and is currently the Director of Operations for the home office.

The home office for Crowne Management is located in Monroeville, where Jones resides.

&#8220I am committed to being the administrator here for as long as it takes until we find a highly qualified individual for this position,” Jones said.

Jones holds a B.S. degree in Business Administration from the University of Alabama.

In addition to Jones, Crowne also has a new Director of Nursing, Gail Gallion.

Gallion worked at Crowne Healthcare earlier for nine years as a registered nurse, and was serving as the assistant director of nursing by the end of that time period. She then transferred to Evergreen Nursing Home where she served as the Director of Nursing for two years. On June 6, she transferred to Crowne Healthcare in Greenville as the new Director of Nursing.

Gallion has lived in Greenville for the last 23 years. She and her husband, Robert (Bob) Gallion, are both members of Southside Baptist Church. She is a graduate of Troy State University.

&#8220We are working toward positive changes and improvements here,” Jones said. &#8220We invite the community to come visit with us at any time.”

Jones added that the staff at Crowne had been very receptive to the changes and that &#8220we are very excited to be here serving the community.”

&#8220We want the family members of our residents to come in and talk with us and take the time to meet with us,” Jones said.

The Greenville facility is one of 14 facilities owned and operated by Crowne Management in the state of Alabama. Crowne Management has operated the Greenville facility since 1992.
