Mrs. Paul Andrew Nelson Sr. announces the engagement of her daughter, Bethany Elizabeth Nelson, to Evan Lee Raulerson of Montgomery, son of Tony and LeaAnna Raulerson of Newnan, Ga.

The bride-elect is the daughter of the late Paul Andrew Nelson Sr. and the granddaughter of Mrs. Ben T. Tillman of Greenville and the late Ben Tillman, and Andrew Junior Nelson of Wetumpka and the late Mary Mask Nelson.

She is a 2001 graduate of Greenville Academy and is currently employed at Drs. Steineker and Dillon in Montgomery.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Larry Lane of Pheonix, Ariz. and the late Carolyn Lane, and Joan Raulerson-Janssen of Haines City, Fla. and the late Bill Raulerson.

He is a 2001 graduate of East Coweta High School in Newnan, Ga. and is currently serving in the U.S. Force at Maxwell-Gunter Air Force in Montgomery as a software engineer.

The wedding is planned for 2 p.m. on July 8 at Southside Baptist Church in Greenville.
