After arrest, police find dope in man#039;s shoes

Police officers found five bags of marijuana in a Greenville man's shoes following a routine traffic stop last Thursday.

Kendrick Keith Robinson, 21, was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana, 1st degree, and carrying a pistol without a permit.

At approximately 8:49 on Thursday night, Robinson was pulled over by Greenville police and consented to a vehicle search. Police found marijuana on the floorboard of the car and a 9mm High Point handgun beneath the seat.

Robinson was transported to the Butler County Jail. The report states that the subject removed his shoes and officers discovered five individual plastic bags of marijuana hidden inside.

Robinson's vehicle, a blue 2004 Chevrolet Impala, was also impounded by the Greenville Police Department.

$246 in assorted U.S. currency was also seized during the arrest, according to police reports.
