The Life Flight helicopter was forced to make an emergency landing at mile marker 136 on Interstate 65 in Butler County Thursday because an ambulance carrying a woman from Okaloosa County, Fla., broke down. Butler County Sheriff's officers, the Greenville Fire Department and several Alabama State Troopers were called to the scene to stop north-bound traffic on the interstate.
