Mr. and Mrs. Harold Sorensen of Rutledge, Ala., would like to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Emily Ray, to Mr. Pete T. Hayes, son of Mr. and Mrs. Pete Hayes of Highland Home.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Royce and Gladys Johnson of Highland Home, and the late Chris and Mary Sorenson of Iowa City, Iowa.

Miss Sorenson is employed at the It Don't Matter Family Restaurant in Highland Home.

The prospective groom is the grandson of the late Daniel and Eleanor Taylor of Montgomery, Ala., and the late Everest Hayes and the late Eleanor Rhodes of Highland Home.

He is employed as a manager at the It Don't Matter Family Restaurant in Highland Home.

The wedding is planned for Saturday, July 29, 2006 at Cowles Reunion House at 7 p.m. with a dance and reception to immediately follow.

Everyone is invited to attend.

The It Don't Matter Family Restaurant will close July 29 at 2 p.m. in honor of the evening's festivities.
