Miss Lauren Brittany Noll and Mr. Joshua Michael Durrett were united in marriage on Saturday, April 15, 2006 at The Old House in LaPine, Alabama.

The ceremony was officiated by Hurshel Collins of Pelham.

Pianist, Mrs. Wilda Harris of Grady, was accompanied by Miss Lindsey Hayden Simpler on the violin.

Miss Simpler is the bride's cousin.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Files of Pelham (Birmingham), Alabama and the granddaughter of Mrs. Betty Byrd Stephens of Montgomery and the late Frank E. Stephens.

The bride is the great granddaughter of the late Edna (Jeffcoat) and Carl Byrd, both descendants of the Jeffcoat and Byrd families from Luverne and surrounding areas.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Durrett and the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Martin and Mr. and Mrs. William Durrett.

Escorted by her father, the bride wore an exquisite ivory satin A-lined gown featuring a fitted strapless bodice, apron back and an Organza inset embellished with metallic beaded embroidery.

Her champagne veil, with a rolled satin edge and accented with crystals and pearls, cascaded from a lovely crystal tiara.

The bride was given in marriage by her parents.

Miss Ashley Brook Noll, sister of the bride, was maid of honor, and Miss Erin Kate Long, cousin of the bride, was the flower girl.

The father of the groom was best man to his son, and Master Brett Ericson of Atlanta was the ring bearer.

Mrs. Brandi Moody, the bride's cousin, directed the ceremony.

A celebration of the wedding included dinner and dancing at the Old House with music provided by DJ Jim Dunham.

The Old House, originally built by the Bradley family and situated on Meriwether Trail in LaPine, is a 100+ year old dwelling purchased by the bride's parents approximately 10 years ago from the McCree family.

The bride's father constructed a 24' gazebo and a 40' pavilion, to match the old Victorian dwelling, for his daughter just months prior to the wedding.

The Old House is open to the public for weddings and other events.

The couple honeymooned in St Lucia, West Indies before returning to their home in Alpharetta, Georgia.
