Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Everett Stewart Jr. of Baton Rouge announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Taylor Melisie Stewart, to Matthew David Dobbs, son of Dr. and Mrs. Ricki Darrell Dobbs of Montgomery.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. John F. Pfrimmer Sr. of Birmingham and the late Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Everett Stewart Sr. of Sandy Ridge.

Miss Stewart is a cum laude graduate of Auburn University where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. She received her Juris Doctorate from Cumberland School of Law and is an attorney in Birmingham.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Dr. and Mrs. Thomas Jefferson Brothers of Anniston, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Jackson Landham of Atlanta, and Mr. James Erby Dobbs and the late Marienne Wells Dobbs of Prattville.

Mr. Dobbs is a summa cum laude graduate of Furman University where he received a Bachelor of Science in Biology. He is in his fourth year of medical school at the University of Alabama School of Medicine.

The wedding is scheduled to take place at 6 p.m. September 30, 2006 at Mountain Brook Baptist Church in Birmingham.
